Schwarz Furniture has stood the test of
time. We are a family owned and operated
business and have served O'Fallon and the
Metro-East since 1894. We have two buildings
and with six floors of furniture on display. We
also have a warehouse behind the main store
which has carpets and mattresses. You won't
believe the large selection of home accessories,
from spice cabinets & pie safes to pictures and
lamps.
We offer anything for the home, and have it
at everyday low prices. Our philosophy is that
a satisfied customer is a customer for life.

The Beginning
Mathias Schwarz was born in Wuertemberg,
Germany, on May 13, 1860. In 1883, Mr. Schwarz
opened a saloon in O'Fallon and engaged in this
business until 1890. In 1894, he returned to
O'Fallon, and bought the undertaking and
furniture business of Charles Ruedlin. This
marked the beginning of Schwarz Furniture.
The Future
Schwarz Furniture continues the family legacy
of serving our customers needs into the fifth
generation. Clyde and LaDoris Glenn have passed
the tradition on to their daughters Mary Kay and Shari.
Mary Kay and her husband Clete manage the business, along with their son Brett, Mary Kay's sister Shari and her son Scott.
